Martino Olivero, graduated from the Conservatory of Cuneo with Maestro Andrea Scacchi, subsequently obtained a two-year specialist degree at the Conservatory of Turin, with Maestro Massimo Macrì. He attended masterclasses with Enrico Bronzi, Giovanni Gnocchi, Stefano Cerrato, Trio Debussy, Endico Dindo, Francesco Dillon. He studied with Damiano Scarpa in Portogruaro.

In 2017 he was selected by the Turin Conservatory to perform the Brahms Sextet op.36 with Bruno Giuranna. He has won several awards, including the “Diapason d’Oro” award and the Ghedini award in 2017 and the scholarship from the Lions club of Portogruaro in 2019.

In July 2020, he won the Lojacono International Competition, for interpretation and composition for cello, thanks to which he is performing a series of concerts as a soloist.

He has collaborated with various orchestras, including the Bruni Orchestra of Cuneo and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo, the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana; he was eligible for the Brandenburg am Havel Theater Orchestra and holds the role of principal cello at the MCO Orchestra of Alexandria.
